PSL: Date Night Didn't Go So Well
Mar. 19th, 2013 11:24 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Who: Megamind (
blueboobs ) and her father (
daddymind ).
What: What's a father to do when his daughter is in despair?
Where: Evil Lair.
Warnings: INCEST.PROBABLY. DEFINITELY.
As she trudged home, barefoot and soaking - the former because she'd kicked off her absurdly high heels, the latter because she hadn't realised she'd left the invisible car behind until she was far enough away to decide it wasn't worth going back - Megamind knew she shouldn't have expected anything different. Of course Richard didn't want anything to do with her. Of course he was smart enough to check out Clara Bird and find out that not only had she never worked for the Metro Man Museum, but she'd never existed at all.
She shouldn't have expected anything different and yet, somehow, she had. Somewhere, deep down, she'd begun to hope that maybe things could change. That maybe she could change. Perhaps being bad wasn't all that she was good at...
Laughable. But she didn't feel like laughing; not that she was crying, no, that was just the rain. The rain that soaked her to the bone through her dress - pathetic, how she'd dressed as though he'd see her as herself - and left her shivering.
The one consolation in this whole mess was that nobody else had known. Well, perhaps Minion suspected something, but he didn't - couldn't - know the specifics. The same went for her father. If she could just get back to her room without bumping into them, then everything would be fine. She would go back to being evil. It would be as if the whole thing never happened...
Megamind bit down on her lower lip as she stepped through the secret entrance and tried to choke back a sob.
